Con: Human Morality
Intro to Morality:
Morality is the concept to human and animal rights. However, this concept does not come up in science and medical field. Lots of people find it un ethical and it makes sense, it can be seen as an act of playing god. With this, playing god has come up in cloning, changing a human genes, all for science and the better of human kind. The poem below, describes the picture next to it, showing how stressful cloning can have on the world. Along with that, science has its cruel side to the world and damages it can do.

Morality
Mitchel Rothe
Bioengineers believe they can play God,
They create human life with a stirring rod
What they don't let us know
Is the success rates are low.
That anything can be cloned
When correctly toned.
They tear animal embryos apart,
They destroy life before it starts.
Without thinking about the feelings
Kids will have in their teens,
Programs throughout bioengineering
Are used to alter genes.

This poem I wrote is what I feel to science and bioengineering. It tells how crazy and chaotic things can become. Who wants to live in a world were everything is the same.
Bioengineering has multiple sections/fields. Technological, medical and so on. It can go in cloning on animal, plants, and now wanting to clone humans. Well the fist successful cloned animal was a sheep. "Dolly the sheep was the first mammal to be successfully cloned from an adult cell" (Hogan). This was a great breakthrough in science, but Dolly is just one of the lucky ones. “The success rate ranges from 0.1 percent to three percent, which means that for
every 1000 tries, only one to 30 are made” (The University of Utah). Which means science is truly destroying lives then creating them.
